Benjamin P. Palma-Gil – Chief Executive
Officer, Director
Mr. Benjamin P Palma-Gil has over 35
years of banking experience. Prior to joining First Vietnamese American Bank as
Chief Executive Officer on August 6, 2007, from 2003 to 2006 he served as
President, CEO and a Director of the Board, Western State Bank, Duarte,
California. From 1998 to 2002, he served as The Chairman and Director of First
Philippine Fund, Inc., New York. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Palma-Gil also served
as the President of Philippine National Bank, Manila. From 1994 to 1998, he
served as the Chairman of the Board of PNB, Manila, Philippines. From 1988 to
1993, Mr. Palma-Gil served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of
Century Bank, Los Angeles, California. He received his Master Degree in
Business Management with high Distinction from Asian Institute of Management.

Walter L. Hannen – Executive Vice
President, Chief Credit Officer
Mr Hannen was one of the original
founders of FVAB, has over 34 years of banking experience. Mr. Hannen served as
President, CEO and Director of Bank of Yorba Linda, Yorba Linda, California,
from 1984 to 1987 a served in the same capacities for Citizens National Bank of
Winston-Salem, North Carolina, from 1981 through 1984. Mr. Hannen’s banking
career began in 1970 with Wachovia Corporation. Since 1997, Mr. Hannen has
served as a financial institutions consultant specializing in turn around and
de novo banks.
Mr. Hannen earned a Morehead Scholarship to attend the University of North
Carolina and also earned an advanced banking and finance degree at the
Wharton/UNC School of Banking. In addition, Mr. Hannen served as Charter
President for the North State Sertoma Club, President of the Yorba Linda,
California, Chamber of Commerce, and as Charter President of the First North
Carolina Certified Development Corporation, established by the North Carolina
Legislature to attract high tech companies to the State of North Carolina and
to serve as the center of high tech embryonic facilities.
