Recognition of a Customer’s Expectation of Privacy
First Vietnamese American Bank recognizes and respects the privacy expectations
of our customers. First Vietnamese American Bank has established policies and
procedures to prevent misuse of our nonpublic personal information, which in
this disclosure we call “confidential information,” about our current and
former customers.
Use, Collection and Retention of Customer Information
First Vietnamese American Bank collects, retains and uses confidential
information about individual customers only where it is allowed by law and we
reasonably believe it is useful in administering our business and in providing

First Vietnamese American Bank has established procedures to ensure that all
confidential information is accurate, current and complete in accordance with
reasonable commercial standards. We will respond in a timely manner to customer
requests to correct inaccurate information.

First Vietnamese American Bank restricts access to confidential information to
those employees who need to know that information to provide products or
services to our customers. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural
safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard all confidential

First Vietnamese American Bank’s "Privacy Principles" will apply to customers’
confidential and private information with regard to both traditional and
non-traditional (i.e., Internet) banking activities. However, due to the unique
nature of the Internet and the ease with which information can be exchanged,
First Vietnamese American Bank feel it is important for customers to be aware
of the unique issues surrounding Internet Banking.
To better serve legitimate Internet Banking customers:

these measures will prevent unauthorized access to our processing system and
the data therein.
First Vietnamese American Bank utilizes up-to-date computer virus protection
software to help prevent the spread of computer viruses. However, we cannot
guarantee that we will be able to prevent computer viruses from being spread to
those who access our website.
